Mother's Day is Coming...

As excited as I am to celebrate being a mother this weekend, the holiday brings with it the sadness of having so recently lost my own mother to cancer. I was handling myself pretty well until I clicked onto my sister's blog today and she had posted this:

Okay, so I cried my first tears for this holiday weekend. I am sure they won't be the last. I love my mom and miss her everyday, but these holidays bring it so close to the surface it is hard to keep it down.
