I guess Fall has officially arrived here in Colorado. The leaves have changed and are falling to the ground. The temperatures are dropping and the kids are upset that I won't let them wear shorts anymore. I hate the colder temps but I do love the fall. This is the lovely view I have from my front porch. Isn't it beautiful?

This last week we had some wind and the big pine tree in our back yard decided to shed some needles. It was a mess. The yard was covered with needles everywhere. Today, I raked them all up. Here is a picture of the pile of pine needles.

I guess you will have to look at it sideways, because no matter what I do, it keeps turning the picture when I upload it. Sorry. I can't believe how many pine needles there were. It is amazing there are still needles on the tree. Unfortunately there are plenty more where these came from, I just hope the rest decide to stick with the tree.

You should so turn off the date on your camera. It ruins a perfectly good-ish picture.
I know, I realize that frequently. I think I have it off now.
