Anyone been to Mexico?
Mike and I are considering a trip to Mexico. Options include Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, and Mazatlan. We are mostly interested in relaxation and beaches. If anyone has been to any of these places, please leave me a comment with your thoughts or suggestions of where to go, where to stay and what to do while we are there. Thanks.

I don't remember all the places we went to, but Kim and I went on a cruise that stopped in a few places. Cabo San Lucas seemed cool.
Overall I wasn't that impressed with the pacific coast of Mexico. To me it seemed a lot like Harlem. Perhaps it would be different at a resort.
Actually, don't take my advice on any of this. The cruise was more stressful than I really needed, so my memories of it are probably skewed accordingly.
When are you planning on going? Babaganoosh and I have talked about bringing Z up by you guys. Maybe for a four day weekend.
We have no idea yet when we will go. Let me know when you want to visit here and we will make sure we don't leave for that weekend. :)

I have heard the Excellence Riviera near Cancun is absolutely amazing. My friend just went there and had the time of her life. Here's their website.

I know a few couples in our ward the have returned to Cabo a few times and absolutely love it. That is a place Chris and I would like to go. I will ask them about it.
Your dad and I are going on a cruise with my kids in January and Cabo is one of the stops. We'll let you know.
